Russel Brand has lots to be proud of, Snooki abstains from clubbing, and tonight’s the Spelling Bee Finals (Happy Friday night to you). These are some of your favorite links of the day… Enjoy!

Rapper Drake tweeted some solid financial advice to all the wanna be moguls out there: “The first million is the hardest.” (Yeah Drizzy, way to motivate the 99% start making those Benjamins!) However, T. Boone Pickens (an 84-year-old Texas oil baron and avid Drake twitter follower) was not impressed responding: “The first billion is a helluva lot harder” Drake getting owned by T. Boone Pickens might be a sign of the impending apocalypse.

Russell Brand is proud of the kiss he shares with Alec Baldwin in “Rock of the Ages”. We doubt he’ll be thinking about this kiss while hosting the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night, he’ll be planning a whole lot of other kisses then.

David Hasselhoff would like the world to know he is a serious actor. The Hoff’s vehicle of choice to prove his acting skills? A remake of “Gone with the Wind” co-staring Rachel Rice. When asked if he was confused about the name of his would be co-star and perhaps meant Oscar winner Rachel Weisz. The Hoff responded “Oh, yeah. Oof! I think she’s hot.” This movie sounds awesome.

The cast of the Jersey Shore (including 6-months pregnant Snooki) has started filming in Seaside Heights. But Snooki plans on keeping it classy “I don’t want to be one of those moms thats pregnant in the club.” Way to show some restraint in your last trimester Snooks!

Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Elton John serenaded the Queen at her “Diamond Jubilee Concert.” We were shocked that the Queen Mum went with Sir Paul McCartney over Ke$ha too.
